When to request installation
- A compatible wheel set is ready to be fitted to the vehicle.
- A wheel was removed for service and needs correct reinstallation and inspection.
Compatibility is more than bolt pattern
Wheel dimensions, center fit, offset, load rating, fastener seat shape, and clearance can affect suitability. The tire must also be appropriate for the vehicle. Damaged studs, unsuitable spacers, or incompatible hardware cannot be corrected simply by tightening the wheel more firmly.
Typical installation checks
The wheel, hub contact area, and fasteners are inspected. The correct hardware and specified tightening sequence and torque are used. Clearance from brakes and nearby components is considered, along with pressure-monitoring requirements where applicable. Tire pressure and any vehicle-specific follow-up instructions can be reviewed before regular use.
Before bringing wheels
Provide wheel and tire specifications if the set did not come with the vehicle. Mention vibration, damaged hardware, or previous fitment changes. Ask whether balancing or other work is needed separately. If a wheel feels loose or severe vibration begins after installation, stop safely and seek professional assistance rather than continuing to drive.
